The right fit is the foundation of comfort. Whether you’re choosing wide fit, standard width or orthotic-friendly styles, understanding how your shoes should feel makes all the difference.
A well-fitting shoe should feel secure, supportive and comfortable from the moment you put it on.

Surefit Kids Shoe Size Guide
Measurements shown next to each size are the inside length of the shoe, not foot length.
Measure your child's feet, then add 10mm growth room, and match that measurement to the inner length listed for each size.
If your child is measuring between sizes then we recommend the larger size of the two.
A well-fitting shoe should:
Feel secure at the heel
Allow natural toe movement
Provide stable arch support
Not require a “breaking in” period to become wearable
Offer cushioning without instability
Comfort should be immediate — not something you hope will improve over time.
If you wear custom orthotics:
Choose styles with removable insoles
Ensure there is enough depth to accommodate your insert
Check that the shoe still fits securely once your orthotic is inserted
